About Us

Dawn Velody

I design and deliver practical, engaging training for organisations on vicarious trauma, mental health awareness, and domestic abuse.
At Mind, the UK’s leading mental health charity, I managed a wide range of workplace wellbeing accounts, working directly with government departments, financial institutions, and other major employers to improve staff wellbeing and resilience.
As a consultant with Tender, a domestic abuse prevention charity, I led a training programme funded by the Violence Reduction Unit at the Mayor of London’s Office. I adapted the content for online delivery during the pandemic and co-developed a nationwide training initiative rolled out across the UK Civil Service and several major corporate partners.
I also co-created a long-running training programme for Capsticks LLP, a leading law firm. Now in its third year, the programme helps legal professionals who regularly deal with traumatic or high-stress cases better understand and manage the impact of vicarious trauma.
I enjoy building strong, honest connections with the people I work with, whether that’s business leaders, social care teams, government officials, or industry specialists.
My goal is always the same: to deliver training that’s not just informative, but genuinely useful, giving people the confidence, tools, and insight to create healthier and more supportive working environments
Associates and advisors
As a freelance consultant and trainer, I am able to offer cost-effective bespoke training to a wide range of organisations. I also work with a team of talented and diverse associates on larger-scale projects, or those that would benefit from specialist input.

Doireann Larkin
I am the Programme Convenor of the MA in Understanding Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse at Goldsmiths University. I have over 15 years' experience working with the voluntary sector to address domestic and sexual abuse on an individual and organisational policy level, helping to build strategies and interventions that reduce or respond to violence.
I currently provide consultancy services, supporting organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors to develop training and intervention programmes which explore topics including: coercive control, harassment and bullying, sexual misconduct, supporting young people to form healthy relationships and creating workplace DV policies. I also work to build and implement evaluation frameworks for this work to measure and disseminate impact.
