"Redcar and Cleveland Council commissioned Dawn from September 2022 to March 2023 to deliver domestic abuse training to over 200 front-line staff across a range of teams following the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. From initial discussions through to the evaluation Dawn was very professional, ensuring the course content captured all the elements we needed to meet several needs across the organisation from understanding the different types of abuse, using professional curiosity, the impact of domestic abuse on children and information sharing. Dawn delivered the training online and provided a great mix of PowerPoint and interactive elements with the use of break-out rooms, and in addition, provided delegates with a very useful resource pack following the sessions. Included with the training was a comprehensive evaluation including fantastic feedback from delegates and clearly demonstrated they had improved their knowledge and skills in this area and had enjoyed the training.
